SCALE Institute

(Prerequisite: must have completed a Fundamentals or equivalent training)

This workshop developed by SCALE is presented at the request of nearly every institution that has received training in “Introduction to Cooperative Learning.” Faculty will engage in activities associated with both synchronous and asynchronous environments utilizing Blackboard and other Learning Management Systems (LMS).

(Prerequisite: must have completed a Fundamentals or equivalent training)

In this workshop, participants will use cooperative learning techniques to dive deeper into topics related to student engagement that include brain based learning, critical thinking, and technology in the classroom with a finale of pedagogy of caring.

This highly interactive workshop is designed to educate, inspire, and rejuvenate community college educators across the curriculum.
